Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth: Wukong is a stunning game to look at, but the exploration is lacking, and the fighting is just sort of fine for the most part. It's just a bit uninspiring, and isn't a game that I'm expecting to stick with me for any length of time now that I'm done with it.

Nah man. Not for me. It's stupid to give low points for this game, i see why people love it. But it is not for me. I thought it would scratch my itch for Witcher, but nah. It's a pure adrenaline boss rush simulator. This one is just boss every 10'. And not a single likeable character. I played it for a while but it got really old with bosses jumping out of bushes every 5secs to fight. To be fair the bosses are really well done and the graphics are great. I want to enjoy story in game, no to watch some randoms folks "lore and story" on YouTube. Since I’m a person who has no clue about Chinese folklore/fairytales and I’m just wondering what this is. The game has 100+ boss fights, imagine that in a linear experience if you’re not into a lot of fighting.
If you want to expirience story like Witcher, GOW, Resident Evil etc... you won't miss anything here

The worst combat system of the decade. Animations are far too long and too often limit control of the character: you press Y but nothing happens because the dodge animation is still finishing; you press B to dodge but it doesn’t work because the character is still completing the get-up animation, and so on.Aside from the breathtaking, truly excellent graphics, there’s basically nothing left. The worst combat system ever — compared to this, Dark Souls 1’s combat system is pure gold.

(1)The plot and plot and animation are great (2)There are too few changes in combat methods and too few equipment. (3)The gameplay is very general, with weapons and sticks.

A mostly boring Dark Souls Clone with pretty visuals but far from an entertaining gaming experience.

To look at Black Myth: Wukong purely through the lens of market sizes and tastes is a disservice that obscures the most critical fact of all: it’s a fantastic game.
